I really like your character design. His hair definitely matches the style of a homebody. The picture of his sister screwing with his hair is hilarious and definitely relatable to people with siblings (I have 3 sisters...). The only thing I can think of that might be an issue is that he's really symmetrical. Maybe explore island jewelry like sea shell bracelets or maybe give him a cultural tattoo on one of his arms/shoulders.
